What Symphony Actually Did for My Business

I've been building on Wix for over 10 years. Solo. Every project, every client, every late-night fix......... just me.
And in all that time, the part I never fully solved was the end.
That moment when the build is done, the client is excited, and you have to somehow transfer 10 weeks of context, what they can touch, what they shouldn't, how the CMS works, where the forms go, what breaks if they do the thing you told them not to do — into something they'll actually understand and refer back to.
For years I handled it the same way most solo devs do. A bit of a document here, a Loom video there, an hour on a call walking them through it. It worked. But it was never something I was proud of. It was the part of the job I was always going to fix "when I had time."
Not the design. Not the code. The handoff. I never had time.

What Changed When I Used Symphony
When I first started with Symphony, I wasn't thinking about automations or agents or any of the bigger capabilities. I had one problem in front of me: I needed a better handoff process.
So I used it to build one.
What came out wasn't just a template. It's a proper system that is structured, clear, and tailored to how DCI Designs actually works. Something that thinks through what each client genuinely needs to know, depending on the size of the build, the complexity of the CMS, and how technically confident they are.
It's now one of the things I'm most proud to send at the end of a project. After 10 years, I finally fixed the thing I never had time to fix.

The Moment It Actually Clicked
A few weeks in, I had a meeting coming up with a new client. Not a lot of prep time, and in the past I would have gone in with what I had in my head. A few notes. Experience doing the talking.
This time, Symphony helped me prepare properly - research, talking points, the right questions ready to go. I walked in informed and confident in a way that genuinely felt different.
That's when it clicked. This isn't just about fixing the handoff. It's about showing up better at every stage - preparation, delivery, client communication, all of it.
For a solo operator, that's the whole game.

What I'd Say to Other Wix Designers/Devs
You don't have to start with the big vision. You don't need a grand plan for how AI is going to transform your business.
Start with the thing you've been meaning to fix. The process that's always been "good enough." The part of the job that takes longer than it should, or that you quietly dread.
That's where Symphony actually earns its place.
For me it was the handoff. For you it might be proposals, onboarding, client check-ins, or getting ready for a pitch. Whatever it is, it's worth starting there — and it's probably simpler to fix than you think.
I'm curious: what's the process in your own studio that you've been meaning to sort out? Would love to hear what others are working on or have already fixed.
